Customizing the Timeout Values (Macintosh Server)

Note: Please consult a PrintPoint representative before performing any of the steps in this tutorial.

The purpose of this tutorial is to give instructions on changing the Timeout Value’s within the 4D Server application.

From the PrintPoint server:

1. Make sure there are no clients logged into the Server.
   
   
2. Select PrintPoint _5_Server Menu > Preferences.
   
   The Preferences window is displayed.

3. From within that window, click on the Application icon.

4. Click on the Client/Server option under Application.
   
   

5. Move the Client/Server Connection Timeout slider to Unlimited.

6. Make sure Use automatic client reconnection is checked.
   
   Your window should look like this:
   
   

7. Click OK to close the Preferences window.
