Customizing the Timeout Values (PC Server)

The purpose of this tutorial is to give instructions on changing the Timeout Values within the 4D Server application.

From the PrintPoint server:

  1. Make sure there are no clients logged into the Server.
  1. Select Edit Menu > Preferences.

    The Preferences window is displayed.
  1. From within that window, click on the Application icon.
  1. Click on the Client/Server option under Application.

  1. Move the Client/Server Connection Timeout slider to Unlimited.
  1. Make sure Use automatic client reconnection is checked.

    Your window should look like this:

  1. Click OK to close the Preferences window.
